James Godwin, October promotion chair,man for the McMinnville Chamber of Commerce, caused quite a stir at the Retail Committee dinner meeting at Oriental Garden Tuesday when he made his arrival astride a burro to dramatize the Gold Rush theme which will prevail during the month-long program. Lynn Miller, chairman for September’s promotion, was also on hand at the meeting to show the football blankets which will be sold during next month's event.
