Boys and Girls Aid Society trustee, Milton Bell, meets Mrs Willard Cushing (left) and Mrs. Philip Bladine, Alder Branch president and treasurer respectively, on the steps of society headquarters in Portland. Bell accepted the McMinnville branch's check for $625 on behalf of the agency. The money was revenue from the annual invitational holiday party. Invitation acceptances ran a whopping 82 per cent to make the most recent affair the most successful yet.
