MUSHROOM OR TOADSTOOL ? ? ?-—No one knew for sure, not even County Agent Gross, plant specialist, but everyone could see that the specimen pictured above was something out of the ordinary when it was brought to the T-R office this week. This mushroom or toadstool was found on the Courtemanche ranch near Carlton by C. F. Mullins, government trapper. Mullins stated that he found it near a fox den where it had grown during the week elapsed since he previously visited the spot. The toadstool-—-or mushroom—-measured 18 inches In thickness and 14 inches across.
