Sheriff's Office Readies First Summer Patrol Boat

READY FOR RIVER PATROL——Sheriff W.L. Mekkers. (left), and Wendell Neasham look over a new 15-foot runabout to be used by Yamhill county for patrol of county rivers. The fiberglass craft will carry emergency equipment and be in operation during summer boating months. This is the first boat owned by the county law enforcement agency.
