A. E. (Monte) Montgomery has been driving the city truck for the Home laundry since 1918. Few persons in the city have had an opportunity to become better acquainted than he, and there is probably no one who has driven around the city as much. Each year he drives between 15,000 and 18,000 miles, nearly all of it in McMinnville. During the 19 years he has been with the laundry he has driven more than 300,000 miles and has yet to have an accident. He came to Oregon from Iowa a short time before entering the employ of the laundry.
