It was a nice day for fishing Tuesday. Clear skies and a nippy wind might prevent some fishermen from staying home, but not when you've got a nice little hole in front of your business. Les Farnham, McMinnville businessman, and Bruce Baxter, sales representative, however reported little luck.

Water main at Third and Fourth streets was punctured by jackhammer causing small river to flow before McMinnville Water and Light crews could repair damage. Contractors are installing new traffic light system at intersection.
