[Sept. 6, 1955] Yamhill County’s grain crop is overflowing the bins; or at least that is how it seemed Saturday when a portable grain bin at Buchanan Cellers warehouse on Fourth Street in McMinnville gave way under the strain and poured about two truckloads of barley into the street. According to an employee of the firm, two men were sawing a section from the highest board on the jack-bin to load more barley into the bin with a mechanical loader. When the board was cut, the barley tore down a wall of the bin and poured men and barley into the street. Neither man was injured.
