Another milestone in the rapid development of the Yamhill county territory by the Richfield Oil corporation will be observed Saturday with the grand opening of a modern $11,900 superservice station in McMinnville.
Located at Baker and Fifth streets, the new station is the third major development marking the entry of Richfield in the county a year ago. Before that time this territory was served out of Beaverton, but increasing business prompted the corporation to open a station similar to the new one here at Newberg in April and construction of an $8000 bulk plant here in August.
The new station designed especially for the best in service, is under the management of Harold Nichols with Clifford Stupfel as assistant.
