McMinnville High School girls stack wood at McMinnville Creamery, Pederson and Son, 208 lrvine Street, in a fundraising project of the Girls Athletic association. More than 150 girls worked on the project Tuesday and Wednesday during physical education classes. Each class worked about half an hour. It was the fourth year the GAA has stacked wood at the creamery in the annual “fund week.” Other projects include raking leaves, car washes, baby sitting, housework and clerical work. Proceeds from the week are used for GAA activities including mothers’ sports night, alumni games and the Christmas dance.
