LAFAYETTE’S NEW WATER SUPPLY comes into being as the J. L. Wilcox drilling company of McMinnville hits an 1800-gallon per minute flow from what was considered an abandoned well just north of the Lafayette City Park. This well will assure an adequate water supply for the city if sanitary tests prove satisfactory.
