1939-1-26, Radio's 'Senator Fishface' Visits at Brockwood Hill,
"The on and only 'Senator Fishface' -the screwball radio comic, the stuttering, stammer "windbag" whose speeched live up to the ideas of a lot of people about legislators, held a "press conference" here Wednesday.
The name "Senator Fishface" was given him in Seattle about five years ago when he was working for a radio station there and it stuck. Since that time he has been on the old Carefree Carnival program on the coast and for the past three years he has been in New York on National Broadcasting company shows. At the moment he is mixing his homecoming visit to Oregon in with vaudeville engagements and soon he will go to California for more radio work if present plans materialize."
