Blaze On Parrett Mountain Consumes 2 Vacant Houses

Pause For Water --Newberg firemen halt to refill a tanker with water hauled by a McMinnville truck during a blaze which burned 200 acres timber and brush and two houses. Nearly 100 men struggled hours to halt the fire. Wednesday afternoon on Parrett mountain. Newberg called McMinnville on a mutual aid basis.
