Destined For Surgery--Pints of blood, collected Tuesday in McMinnville for use in Portland Wednesday during an open heart operation, are loaded in the McMinnville ambulance for a rush trip from the Elks lodge collecting area to the community airport. It was flown to Portland by Vernon Burkhart of McMinnville.
