THIS HUGE LIMB, estimated to weigh five-tons, was removed from an old Oak tree at the Eugene E. Marsh residence on Dayton road about 6:40 a.m., Tuesday, by high winds and heavy rain. The monstrous section of the tree fell across power lines pulling them to the ground but did not interrupt power or telephone service in any way, according to McMinnvilIe Water and Light department officials. The high winds and rain created minor problems with power lines in the city.
