WIDENING PROGRESSES—Bridge widening at Amity on Highway 99W is moving forward slowly, but steadily, as shown by forms ready to receive poured concrete for new supports to hold up new section to be added to the bridge. The state highway department is widening numerous structures on Highway 99W between Amity and Rickreall in an effort to remove numerous narrow and hazardous structures on the section of highway. At the Amity project there is one-way traffic controlled by traffic signals but delay is minor. There is some equipment in the roadway.
