A landmark at 5th and Davis streets in McMinnville since 1898, the old Christain Church came under the wrecker’s bucket recently to pave the way for future expansion of the Oregon Mutual Insurance Company. The bucket is poised to take a chunk out of the church roof, as the building came down in a matter of two or three days.
