Receiving corsages for meritorious service are Mrs. Vivian Strout (center), Cook School principal, and Mrs. Frances Maxwell, third grade teacher at Cook School. Mrs. Wallace Wright, member of Cook School PTA, pins on the corsages at a special party for the teachers following the PTA meeting Monday night. Mrs. Strout is retiring from her position to take an elementary teaching job in the district, and Mrs. Maxwell is retiring from teaching. She came to McMinnville as a teacher in 1941.
