Deputy Sheriff Dick Lofton, chairman of the McMinnville Safety Council, presents a certificate of merit to Debi Browning, McMinnville teenager. Miss Browning received the award at a Safety Council meeting Monday noon for her effort in carrying three small children from a burning house in McMinnville April 8.
