These enthusiasts ignored Tuesday morning's foggy chill to kick off the Michelbook Country Club Ladies season after breakfast in the clubhouse. Others stayed inside to play bridge. Class A winner was Mary Mattecheck with a net 38 for nine holes; second place went to Marge Colvin with a 41, Jean Osborne and Nettie Kroll tied for third with 42s. Winner in Class B was Joyce McDonough with Doris Hutson and June Yocum placing second and third. Class C honors went to Kay Musgrove, first place, and Bev Towner, second place. Winners of the bridge tournament will be announced at a later date.
