Firemen spray abandoned warehouse on Ferry Street near the Dayton Boat Ramp Tuesday during a major fire. No one was injured in the fire, which was discovered about 4:30 p.m. Units from McMinnviIle and surrounding radius local fire department members, were called in to contain the fire. A large crowd of onlookers gazed at the big blaze, said to be the biggest in Dayton’s history. Building was once granary and is owned by Roger Dumdi of Yamhill. Cause is still under investigation.
