Water, and plenty of it, will be the outcome of this irrigation project now under way on Hawn Creek near McMinnville. Work is forging ahead on the long-planned dam and excavation work which will impound more than 150 acre-feet of water. The 25-foot earth fill dam is shown taking shape in the background. Bulldozers are currently routing out trees and brush to make way for a two-mile pool which will inundate part of the creek canyon.
