It may have just been an News-Register cameraman’s April Foolishness, but McMinnville Kiwanian Alan Jones takes on the appearance of a four-armed octopus as he attempts to man all of the switches on KMCM’s control room console. Jones tried his hand at the engineer’s post during Friday’s Kiwanis K-Day at the local station. Kiwanians sold advertising spots, wrote the copy, announced the numbers and read the commercials throughout the day.
