Joe Dancer, right, McMinnville City Administrator, accepts the dedication plaque for the new shelter in Wortman Park during special ceremonies Sunday. The shelter was built by the McMinnville Jaycees from donated materials. The structure will seat some 150 persons and is equipped with stove units, hot and cold running water and a fireplace. Making the presentation of the plaque is Al Emrick, president of the Jaycees.
