The cars, lined up before the Oregon Hotel prior to starting and attracted a crowd of curious observers.
At right are Mr. and Mrs. Jim Rogers, Portland, with their unique 1904 2 cylinder Ford. The car has a rear entrance tonneau and is painted a bright orange. Car performed creditably on the trip, remind spectators of an outboard motor when it warmed up and headed down the street.
