BROAD BREASTED BRONZE is the type of bird that judges for the 1949 Pacific Coast Turkey Exhibit will judge here beginning November 15. This bird that Miss Margaret Crowe is holding may be one of the prize birds sent to President Harry Truman or the 48 state governors. Broad breasted bronze turkeys are valuable market birds because of the large amount of white meat found on their breasts. This bird and eight thousand more like him are owned by the Newton Fruit turkey ranch on Three Mile lane.
