STAMPING A PACKAGE with parcel post tape from the McMinnville post offices new parcel post meter machine, is Hugh Mandigo, post office employee. Postmaster Robert Ballard stands in the background holding the package that Mandigo will stamp. Ballard said the machine, which was installed here this week, will greatly facilitate the handling of parcel post, as well as cancelling of large groups of Ietters. Tape is dispensed from the machine for use on parcel post, while letters are both stamped and cancelled by the machine.
