1949-3-10, "Cookout" Held at Olson Home. 17 Girl Scout Leaders Attend.
Methods of outdoor Girl Scout cookery were demonstrated at this "cookout" held Friday at the Elmer Olson home on Fleishauer Lane. Tempting dishes with such exotic names as "Blushing Bunnies" and "Heavenly Smashers" were prepared over the open fire in the foreground for the instruction and enjoyment of the Girl Scout leaders present. This afternoon meeting was attended by Mesdames: Russell Brown, C.M. Robbins, John Voll, Dean Hart, Vernell Vanderhoof, Jack Bladine, Russell Well, Louis Courtemarche Jr., Weller Probasco, George Benedict, William Stainke, Percy Carlson, George Stone, Kenneth Sundt, Jesse Miller, and Elmer Olson.
