January 5, 1962br/Highway to be widened? -- Decision on a public hearing concerning the construction of a four-lane highway to replace the span of Highway 99W from the Yamhill River bridge to North Baker street rests with McMinnville people. The State Highway commission plans to widen the roadway but wont hold a hearing unless enough McMinnville people request one. Requests are to go to city council members before Jan. 15.
