August 8, 1962br/TV Appearance - Video tape recording for later showing over Portland television station KOIN-TV was made Monday when McMinnville Chamber officials promoting the city's weekend Turkey-Rama visited Portland and the TV stationrsquo;s studios. Appearing on the Hi Neighbor program were (left to right) Johnny Carpenter, television personality, Harvey Stoller, Dayton turkey rasier, who has a big role in the Turkey-Rama event, and Pete Beall, manager of the McMinnville Chamber. Bargains, barbeque turkey for 7000 people and turkey races are to be featured in the Thursday-Saturday observance in McMinnville of Turkey-Rama.
