January 29, 1959 County Receives Locks, Dam Deed
AT LAST---- R.E. Renne, Yamhill county judge receives long-awaited deed for Yamhill locks and dam property from J. Carl Reister, clerk at McMinnville post office. Deed arrived Monday by certified mail from Seattle office of General Services Administration, which formerly controlled the locks and dam site. The site is received by the county as a gift from the federal government.
