History Renewed In Lafayette-- Community residents gathered Thursday night at the historic Lafayette Commons for the planting of a new Council Oak, replacement for the tree under which earliest council and judicial sessions were held. Mrs. C. E. Terry, second from left, Lafayette chairman, was in charge of the project.
