New physical education facility for McMinnville Junior High is nearing completion with inside work yet to be done. Contractor for project was Jack Squires and cost was about $55,000. In the 3000 sq. ft. facility will be 120 lockers, shower stalls for visiting and home teams and rooms may be used for wrestling and tumbling classes. Building should be ready in about a month, school officials said. It is replacing old field house on Baker Field which was torn down.
