General Telephone Company this week installed a piece of equipment for training new telephone operators. Chief operator at the McMinnville office of the firm, Matdeen Kennedy, stands beside training unit. It will allow training of two new operators on the mock-up. Each person spends about 5-7 days getting acquainted with all types of phone calls as supervisor acts part of customer.
