lt’s not that "blondes have more fun.” Charles Teegarden, county commissioner, gets a wig-fit from Renate Ritland of Renate’s Beauty Salon when it was determined Charlie just didn't have enough hair to style. Green stamps Teegarden is holding will be accepted along with donation for Yamhill County Hairdressers Association benefit this Sunday at Renate’s from 7:30 to 5:30 p.m. All proceeds will go to the Amity Mid-Valley Workshop for the Handicapped to acquire a new bus needed to transport workers. There will be babysming offered in a trailer house next to the salon, prizes throughout the day, pickup and delivery service for patrons and a grand prize for the largest donation. The Association event is part of National Beauty Salon Week. Last year over $400 was raised for The Pat Glancy Fund. About 35 hairdressers will be on hand to give hair-dos Sunday (appointments won't be necessary).
