Mayor Norm Scott signs proclamation declaring January Alcoholism Information Month. Looking on are (I-r) Alan Marek, council treasurer; Jack Price, council vice chairman; and the Rev. John Galagan chairman. The council holds a noon meeting each second Monday at the county courthouse. Established last year, it is planning on conducting research to determine what alcoholism problems exist in the county.
