The fourth summer American Cheerleaders School was held at Linfield College this past week with 57 girls and 2 boys from high schools and junior high schools throughout western Oregon participating. Under the direction of Willie Chong, Los Angeles. Squads are taught discipline, song leading, cheerleading, crowd psychology and timing. The four members of Chong's staff are teenagers trained at the American Cheerleading College in Florida. Shown are some of the cheerleaders caught in mid-air doing routine.
