LEST WE FORGET--The familiar statue of the World War I doughboy on Yamhill county's courthouse lawn seems oblivious of the homage being paid soldiers of the nation who died in battle. Members of the McMinnville American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars posts conducted a memorial program Friday during Veterans Day. Rev. S. James Osborne presented a short message.
