FOUR YAMHILL COUNTY high school students were presented awards by the McMinnville Elks lodge Thursday as winners of the Leadership Contest sponsored by the lodge. Winners were selected on the basis of leadership exhibited by activities in school.
Michael Williams, Yamhill-Carlton, and Carol Heinonen, Amity, (left) were presented $100 bonds as first place winners. June Day, McMinnville, and Robert Miller, Newberg, received $25 bonds for second place.
