In memory of Ivan Pearson, long-time McMinnville Fire Chief, a bench he made many years ago has been located in front of the 1st National Bank. Pearson made the bench for his father and then had it on his home patio after his fathers death. Admiring the bench and bronze plaque are Mrs. Pearson and Ralph Wortman, a charter member of the local fire department.
