McMinnville Firemen and City Water & Light Department personnel turned out for the weekend to prepare the city for the coming Yule season by hanging Christmas lights and decorations throughout the city’s core area. Local foremen have been working for weeks preparing the decorations and City Water & Light Department crews and equipment were pressed into service to hang the traditional decorations. Official opening of Christma season in McMinnville will take place Friday morning when the McMinnville Kiwanis Club stages its annual Kids Day Parade.
