Jim Godwin, chairman of the Retail Merchants' Grocers’ Special promotion, hams it up with a bunch of Christmas gift walnut sacks to be sold by local merchants during the promotion. The burlap sacks, which will hold five pounds of walnuts, are printed with the legend Seasons Greetings, Walnuts, McMinnville, Oregon. Packed with Yamhill County walnuts, the sacks make fine Christmas presents for out of state friends and family, Godwin said.
