October 16, 1966
McMinnville First Baptist Church Women's Missionary Society, for its first meeting of the new year under the leadership of Mrs. Floyd Smalley, had a potluck Monday. Joyce Smith Circle as hostess served cornbread and members dressed in old fashioned clothes. Mrs. Lois Cummins, one of the hostesses, here sits beside the table covered with a checkered cloth and decorated with kerosene lamps. Decor for the meeting was in keeping with the Church's 100th year which begins in 1967. Jane Osgood Circle provided a program under the chairmanship of Mrs. Ted Green. Codie Bell of Linfield College sang and Mrs. Tom Irwin, vice-president of Interpretation, outlined the year's program. Approximately 60 women attended.
