Alesia Teegarden, sixth grader at Adams School, dismounts from the cab of a big red McMinnville Fire Truck. Miss Teegarden was delivered to and from school for one day by fire engine as part of her award for winning the Fire Prevention Week Poster contest spon-sored by the McMinnville Jaycees and Fire Department. She also won a $25 savings bond. Other winners who won duplicate awards were Mike Nicolls, fourth grade, Adams School, and Janis Purgason, fifth grade, Newby School.
