Congressman Wendell Wyatt, Republican candidate for re-election to his 1st Congressional District seat, chats with Willard Cushing, his Yamhill County campaign manager, on a McMinnville street corner Thursday. Wyatt, who returned from Washington, D.C. a day earlier than expected, spent the day traveling around the district talking to constituents. He was accompanied by his campaign manager Chuck Hoyt. The Congressman will be in McMinnville Oct. 31 for an 8 p.m. speaking engagement at Linfield College.
