The Amity Standard building, purchased recently by Amity Police Chief Jim Zupo, left, is being torn down to make room for new development. Amity Councilman Harry Wilcox holds old copies of the weekly newspaper unearthed during the demolition. Zupo has not as yet announced plans for the site.
