Area Brooks prune growers met at the Yamhill County fairgrounds Thursday to organize the Brooks Prune Growers Association, the first cooperative of its kind in the state. Those who attended elected a board of directors and discussed a program of action for the new association. Here Dudley Sitton, named to the board, speaks to growers prior to the election.
