1943-03-11, Relief Corps Aiding Red Cross, "Members of the Junior Relief corps will begin a house-to-house canvass in McMinnville, selling cook books prepared by the Household Science institute as an aid in preparing "victory meals." Each booklet will sell for 25 cents. Funds will be turned over to the Red Cross blood plasma bank in Portland. A similar drive now is being sponsored throughout the state by the Women's Relief corps. The quota is $25,000. Pictured are Mary Duchanie, president of the junior corps, explaining the advantages of the booklet to Mary Bennette, patriotic instructor of the group. Mrs. W.A.
