1943-02-25, Aid for the Victory Book Drive, "Mrs. Charles I. Harrison, wife of Ensign Harrison, former navy recruiter here and now on active duty, lent a helping hand this week to the local Victory Book campaign by donating ten volumes which will be distributed among the armed forces stationed in Oregon. Contributions now are being received for the drive at the McMinnville library. This year emphasis is on quality rather than quantity."
