Roy Brixey, Yamhill County Civil Defense Director poses with a WWII vintage “Duck” driven here recently from Tooele, Utah to become part of the county CD fleet. Vehicle was purchased through surplus. The “Duck” will make a valuable tool in CD rescue work. Such a vehicle would have been invaluable during the Christmas floods of 1964, Brixey said.
