This 1949 Peterbilt truck, pictured Tuesday, Aug. 1 outside Ballston, is one of two vintage semis that Denny Edwards will jump over in his Aug. 12 performance at Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum. Edwards rebuilt the truck himself, adding more than a foot of length to the hood; the tops of the exhaust stacks are 13 1/2 feet from the ground.
